BENEFITS : Zep DZ-7 is a neutral, quaternary ammonium chloride, hospital-grade detergent/disinfectant, and is a member of the Zep GreenLink line of Environmentally Preferred Products (EPP). It effectively cleans and disinfects without damaging floor finishes, and controls a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi, and viruses, including HIV, on environmental surfaces at a mixture of 4 ounces per gallon of water.

- A hospital-grade germicide that kills a broad spectrum of both Gram-negative and Gram-positive organisms including Staphyloccus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Salmonella choleraesuis, and many others.
- Virucidal
- Controls the HIV-1 (AIDS) virus at 4 ounces per gallon, as well as Herpes Simplex Type 1, Herpes Simplex Type 2, Influenza A2/Hong Kong and Vaccinia Pseudorabies, Bovine Rhinotracheitis, Feline Leukemia, Feline Picornavirus, and Canine Distemper. Effective against HBV, HCV (Hepatitis B and C virus)
- Fungicidal
- Kills Trichophyton mentagrophytes (athlete’s foot fungus) and Candida albicans on environmental surfaces.
- Cleans
- Quickly penetrates tenacious soil deposits to dissolve and float them away. Removes blood, excreta, as well as other organic matter.
- Deodorizes
- Eliminates many odors at their source by killing the bacteria which produce the odor.
- Biodegradable
- All the detergents and/or emulsifiers are completely biodegradable.
- Excellent on hospital
- Leaves no insulating film to impair the electrical transmission properties of operating room conductive conductive floors flooring, providing floors are properly rinsed.
DESCRIPTION
A concentrated hospital-grade liquid disinfectant, cleaner, sanitizer, fungicide, mildewstat, virucide that kills HIV-1 (AIDS virus) on precleaned environmental surfaces/objects previously soiled with blood/body fluids. Effective in hard water up to 400 ppm hard water (calculated as CaCO3) plus 5% organic soil serum. Contains a blend of non-ionic detergents, builders, water softening agents plus powerful quaternary ammonium germicides.

Excellent for use in all major hospital areas including recovery rooms, patient rooms, maternity, nursery, cafeteria, pediatrics, corridors, emergency rooms, out-patient, physical therapy, dormitory areas, radiology, blood bank services, laboratories, bathrooms, operating rooms, animal research areas and office areas.
